Emotional Design: Attractive Things Work Better

Emotions change how we think. Emotions are part of cognition, though, George Lakoff would say - so I’m not surprised. I think this chapter makes a good argument for why emotions are part of cognition.

Honestly, I love the Theremin-like instruments but I won’t attempt to make one…at least not this semester.

I’m not tempted by gloves, floor pads, or video mirrors.

Unfortunately, I am indeed tempted by the mechanical pixels. I think the fields of grass idea is tempting as well.

I have also been tempted to create body-as-cursor projects in the past.
